1. Acceptance and scope

By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Separate written quotations, pro-forma invoices, order confirmations, delivery notes, warranty documents or signed agreements may contain transaction-specific terms. Where there is a conflict, the specific written transaction document applies to that transaction to the extent permitted by law.

2. Website and product information

BuyTrend aims to keep product descriptions, images, specifications and availability information useful and current. Product appearance, packaging, included accessories or technical details may change, and website information should not be treated as a final technical specification unless confirmed in writing.

Customers should confirm required capacity, dimensions, utility connections, accessories and site conditions before ordering.

3. Quotations and order acceptance

A website cart, enquiry or quotation request does not by itself create an accepted order. An order is accepted only after BuyTrend confirms the product, price, availability, payment terms, delivery scope and any installation requirements in writing.

Quotations may remain valid only for the period stated on the quotation and may be affected by stock availability, exchange-rate movements, supplier changes or material errors.

4. Pricing, taxes and errors

Prices displayed on the website or communicated informally may be corrected before an order is accepted. The official quotation or invoice will state the applicable currency, taxes, delivery charges, installation charges and included accessories.

If an obvious pricing, calculation or description error is identified before acceptance, BuyTrend may correct it and give the customer an opportunity to proceed on the corrected terms or cancel the request.

5. Payment

Customers should pay only using the method and account details shown on an official BuyTrend quotation, pro-forma invoice or invoice. Deposit, balance and credit terms—where available—are confirmed in writing for each transaction.

Payment is treated as received only after cleared funds are confirmed. BuyTrend may pause procurement, dispatch, installation or handover where an agreed payment has not been received.

6. Delivery, inspection and installation

Delivery timing, charges and scope are governed by the confirmed quotation or order. The customer must provide accurate location details, safe access, authorized receiving personnel and a site suitable for the equipment.

Where installation is included, the customer is responsible for ensuring that electricity, gas, water, drainage, extraction, space and other site services meet the confirmed requirements. Additional work caused by incomplete site preparation may be quoted separately.

7. Returns and warranties

Return requests are handled under the Returns and Refunds Policy. Warranty claims are handled under the Warranty Policy and any manufacturer or transaction-specific warranty document.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

8. Acceptable website use

• Do not interfere with website security, availability or normal operation.
• Do not submit false, fraudulent or unauthorized enquiries or payment information.
• Do not copy, scrape or republish substantial website content without permission.
• Do not upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not use BuyTrend branding in a misleading or impersonating manner.

9. Intellectual property

Website text, graphics, layout, branding and original content are owned by or licensed to BuyTrend unless stated otherwise. Product brands, photographs and trademarks may belong to their respective owners. Website access does not transfer ownership or grant a right to reproduce content commercially.

10. Liability and events beyond reasonable control

BuyTrend does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limitation, website information is provided for general guidance and should be confirmed for the intended commercial use before purchase or installation.

BuyTrend is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including transport disruption, supplier delay, customs processes, power or communications failure, extreme weather, public emergencies or government action. The affected parties should cooperate to reduce the impact.

11. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Customers are encouraged to contact BuyTrend first so concerns can be reviewed and resolved promptly. This does not prevent either party from using any lawful complaint, mediation or court process.
