Check whether shelves, trays, baskets, burners, door gaskets and other wear components can be removed and replaced. Equipment that is difficult to clean or service can create unnecessary downtime.
6. Compare total cost of ownership
The lowest quotation is not always the least expensive option over time. Compare purchase price together with expected energy use, water consumption, consumables, preventive maintenance, cleaning labour, replacement parts and likely downtime.
7. Assess supplier and after-sales support
A professional supplier should help clarify specifications, installation needs and operating limitations. Ask who handles commissioning, whether staff orientation is available, how warranty cases are processed and which spare parts are normally stocked.
Keep model numbers, serial numbers, manuals and warranty documents in an equipment register. This makes future servicing and parts identification much easier.

- Dimensions fit the planned station and delivery route.
- Electrical, gas, water, drainage and ventilation requirements are confirmed.
- The unit is suitable for commercial duty and frequent cleaning.
- Operator access and service clearances are adequate.
- Warranty, installation, training and spare-parts support are understood.
- Delivery timing and site readiness are coordinated.
- The final quotation clearly identifies model, capacity and included accessories.
